Headless Securities Board – SEBON

Capital market regulatory body Nepal Securities Board (SEBON) has been leaderless for the last 6 months. After the term of the outgoing President Ramesh Kumar Hamal ended on December 20, the government has not yet appointed a President for the vacant post.

Due to the absence of a chairman, the approval process for securities such as IPO, FPO, bonds, rights has been stopped since last year.
