Nepal Electricity Authority’s profit is 11 billion

Nepal Electricity Authority has earned a profit equal to 11.6 billion rupees in 9 months of the current fiscal year 2080/81.According to the details released by the authority, a total of 82 billion 88 million rupees have been spent on electricity purchase, administrative, project investment, etc.

The main income and expenses of the authority are in electricity sale and purchase and projects respectively. The Authority has earned a profit of 11.6 billion rupees during this period. In the same period of the last financial year 2079-80, the profit of the authority was 8 billion 88 million rupees.
