No commodity market for about 7 years after the Act was issued

Since Nepal Securities Board could not distribute the license of Commodity Exchange, no exchange company has been operating legally since Bhadra 2074.
Although it is mentioned in the Act that the Securities Board will regulate the commodity market, it has not yet been regulated.
The Securities Board has asked for applications for commodity exchange companies three times. For the first time, 5 companies applied. After that, 6 companies applied for the second time and 4 companies applied for the third time.
The board, which rejected the previous two applications, has said that it will apply to two of the four submitted for the third time. But no license has been given to any company so far.
The Auditor General’s office has also raised questions regarding the board’s failure to operate the commodity market.
